Sometimes, his mouth gets him into trouble, and sometimes that trouble couldn’t handle him. But other times, trouble was too much that even he was able to handle. That’s he ended up falling, that’s how he ended up crashing face first into the cold water. If Percy wasn’t, well, Percy, he probably wouldn’t have survived the fall. He gasps underwater, taking a deep breath, opening his eyes and looking around frantically. Before swimming back up to the top, and honestly once he did. He really should have stayed down below, because that was NOT a creature real or mythical he was at all aware of.

Gasping at how large-- how towering over him, too stunned that he hadn’t even thought to swim away. To do something! But in his defense, he really never seen anything like that before.

“So you’re a glaive, mmh ? You’re not mad to do a hunt with me ?” Aranea asked, a smirk on her lips. It wasn’t the first time she was teamed up with a glaive for a hunt. It had happened quite often in the past months, but some of them simply didn’t want to work with her since she was a former commodore of Niflheim Empire. The dragoon always acted cool about it, but she had started to find it quite ANNOYING. Her past didn’t define her. And she spent much of her time with the king’s advisor, and when she wasn’t with him, she was often with one of his two other friends. It could be a clue about her true allegiance for some people, but some others were simply hard to convince.

Blue eyes observed the crowd around them before walking forward. He’d promised to play active guard today while they went out to the arcade. A small price to pay, but Prompto didn’t mind. Tapping on Aria, he gave a small smile.

“Doin’ okay there? I know you don’t really NEED me to keep guard, but I figured two birds with one stone, yeah?”

Nyx smirked and shook his head a bit before patting her shoulder, “That’s my girl.”

Aria smiled genuinely at the woman and said softly, "I really admire you. You're really badass and shit and..." Oh, Gods, this was so lame. Why did she think this was a good idea? She glanced away and shifted on her feet. "Um..." was all she could get out of her mouth after that. She truly did admire Crowe though. The way she seemed to hold herself with confidence and her determination. It was pure awesome in the shier glaive's eyes.

Crowe grinned for a moment, and then abruptly chuckled, leaning over and ruffling the other woman’s hair. “You’re pretty badass yourself you know? Thought you didn’t much like me, honestly. I know I can be~” she smirked for a moment. Trying not to focus on how the heartfelt admiration, that admiration from anyone, still felt...ill fitting. All awkward on her. 

“A lot.”

Nyx gave her a pat on the head, “It’s alright. While you work through it, just try your best not to glare at him. S’all I ask.”

“Are you okay?” He hung upside down from the tree, blood rushing to his head, not that he cared as he stared down at the human. His green eyes glowed faintly with how dark it was, so he might give her a slight scare. But then again, he was hanging from a tree like some weirdo. Honestly, it was just a nice place to sit on, the strange girl just happened to lean against his tree. She looked like a mess too.
