my yearning has lessened (because winter has me too depressed and numb to feel anything) BUT ☝️ i have an idea

i can just confess in a note! it's more personal than a text but not so extemporaneous that it's intimidating (plus we're so busy lately that we rarely run into each other anymore). i can edit my thoughts again and again and again until i convey enough that she knows i'm into her but not so extremely that it completely scares her off. and she can take her time formulating her reply for when she inevitably rejects me - no awkward silences or parting of ways!
