Ok but my favourite thing about the tragedy of them, about Shen Wenlang being an absolute fucking idiot and missing all the clues is because he just trusts Gao Tu so much. Gao Tu is literally the person that makes him feel at home, the one constant that he trusts without questions and thinks will be there with him, always. So the thought that Gao Tu could LIE TO HIM? and about something so significant and important? It never even crossed my guys mind.

Like even if someone point blank tells him, he will not fucking believe till he has like 24 different pieces of proof. My poor dumb dude.

Au in which everything is the same but when Shen Wenlang asks Gao Tu "why the fuck you stink like an omega" Gao Tu just smiles and answers with

"Oh I am so sorry. I bought a new cologne it must have been omega scented by accident. Silly me. Does Mr. Shen hate it? I can wash it off"

And Shen, who is smelling the most divine thing ever and - this time - is not thinking of how it's a smell of someone who gets to have sex with HIS Gao Tu is suddenly just fine with it. He's like nah its okay. Yeah it smells like omega a little but actually it's not that bad. You can wear it sometimes. It's not like I care what cologne you use, Gao Tu, why would I care? as long as you're not having sex with some random omega and then come smelling like them it's fine.

And then Gao Tu just. Comes smelling like himself more often. And maybe Shen Wenlang compliments it like one time. Not anything big but like yeah, normally omegas stink but that perfume of yours isn't tragic.
