Nothing destroys me like a lie.
If someone can't be bothered to take the time to care for their own child or even change his dirty diaper, don't trust them to watch your kid. Ever. For any reason.
Wisdom is knowing that: You don't know everything, You have not done everything, You will be wrong sometimes, You are not always the smartest person in the room, Everyone can teach you something in one way or another, Not all females are ladies, Children learn by what they see and hear, You are responsible for your actions, And having a high IQ DOES NOT MAKE YOU WISE.
Dolls.
The other day my sister in law took a Barbie away from my two year old son. “No, boys don’t play with dolls, that’s not for you.” I ducked back into his room and came out with his cupie doll. “Hey! I found your baby.” She looked busted. What are people scared of? That our little boys might learn to be good big brothers and take care of younger children? That they might grow up to be amazing dads, uncles, pediatricians, teachers, and childcare workers? Gee that would be terrible. Yeah, we should definitely take dolls away from little boys.
Loud.
In a disagreement, being the loudest person in the room does not make you bigger, stronger, more intelligent, more right, or less stupid. It does however shut down people’s willingness to listen to anything worth hearing that you have to say. No one likes to be yelled at; especially not by someone who they see as having no authority over them. When you need to get attention by raising your voice, don’t yell more than two words. Then speak calmly but forcefully, projecting your voice. By saying only what needs to be said and and making your point in as way that relates on a personal level with your audience, your audience will be more open and willing to listen to what you have to say than if you had just yelled at them.

"What the hell happened here? What happened while I was gone?"
Green eyes glanced around the near-empty hallway before he opened the door wand walked straight into the morgue. He was dressed in a suit and tie, FBI badge in the inner pocket of his jacket. In case anyone caught him, he would be able to get out of it. But, for now, he was worried about these murders. Three people supposedly mauled to death. One was bad enough, two was a coincidence, but three people dead like that was strange.
Dean knew how to deal with strange.
He pulled open the small, metal door, reaching for the table the body laid out. he slid it out and moved the sheet back. Claw marks, every which way across othe body. It looks like whatever had done it had been able to easily lacerate the skin--as if it was tissue paper.
