Wolverinestar, Leader of Shadeclan
Wolverine is a hard tomcat. As a kit he used to be playful and impressionable. He was always very attached to things and had difficulties with change. He was especially close to his mother and brother. His father, however, hardly visited the nursery until his sons were old enough to start learning about clan life. Wolverine enjoyed the lessons at first, but soon he began to resent them. He was scolded for becoming distracted and for the times he and his brother preferred to play instead. His father became more and more aggressive towards the kits as they grew older, bordering on abuse. He taught them to be tough, ruthless, and calculating.
By the time he was an apprentice, Wolverine had grown bitter and would not easily relinquish grudges. Despite his lack of drive as a kit, however, he surprised the clan with how hard he worked. He grew to be an excellent hunter and fighter. He was very well rounded and he and his brother always made a competition out of things, making them both pushy and hard headed. They would fight constantly, but were truly inseparable.
Wolverine suffered his father's abuses throughout his apprenticeship. Both he and his brother became cold and distanced themselves from others at their father's goading. When they became warriors, both toms proved to be ambitious and worked tirelessly to provide to their clan. Though both toms were rather contentious, Wolverine was a hair more level-headed than his brother.
Wolverine faced difficulties throughout his time as a warrior but tried his best to be loyal to his clan and his kin. Now as leader, he guides his clan strictly though not unfairly. He makes sure everyone pulls their weight and is very vigilant about following the warrior code. He is incredibly strong, large, and intimidating. Some distrust him for his brother’s crimes, which has begun to make him seclusive once again... Character and Art owned by: Blu-Jayz
