'One kind of feminism focuses on the policies that will help women integrate fully into the existing American system. The other recognizes the fundamental flaws in the system and seeks its complete and total transformation.'" A quote from an article I sought out in attempts to understand what white women who call themselves feminists are still fighting for in their activism. This helped a lot ❤ but for those of you who's intelligence kept you from developing a sense of boredom while reading the quote (or upon viewing a lengthy status), I'd like to hear what you think white women of the feminist movement are still working towards. What still drives them in this movement? What's their goal? Note: this is not an invitation for you to argue with me about judging white feminists as those without a purpose. Class trip to the Schomburg last night Cicely Tyson was also present. Powerful night of demystifying what politics is and isn't ..Gotta know the rules to break them.we call ourselves colored gurls because we for everyone. We sit on the dnc rules committee. When Arizona came and said they couldn't find Native Americans we sent them back. When California came & said we cant find lesbians, we sent them back and told them they cant be seated. Day 1, after surgery.

One Hospital panties ( mad comfy lol) , a pad and three incisions later.

I wanna say something about this tattoo…it’s a scarab with wings. Yes it is Egyptian/Afrikaan related for me as well. Beetles are believed to be a form of rebirth. I placed this on my womb- the area that creates and ends life. The Scarabaeidae Beetle Family specifically have a particular way of living. They rolled wasted into balls which later is used as food for the larvae. Also, the god Kephri is depicted as half man half beetle, he symbolizes the sun. He “rolled” across the sky periodically, perhaps this is where the whole, “ I am your moon (womyn) and you are my sun (man).

With regards to my surgery, I am closer to understanding more. My doctor/surgeon did a great job, with being supportive and keeping myself and my family updated. She removed whatever she saw as extra "growth”. Now, endometriosis and whatever else have you don’t discriminate and science/medicine don’t get it neither, so I don’t feel bad or like a victim.

The doctor by the way is Nancy Jasper, very professional as well. I don’t need a doctor to act like my BFF and tell me everything “is online” or talk as if she is the expert from VOGUE magazine in the Sex and health department. But the cool part for me, she’s a SISTER ✊🏿.

Dr. Jasper showed my partner as well as mom my photos..😒. Cute doc, cute. Dad was Playing Chauffeur, so he clueless.

Meanwhile My partner playing nurse jackie (the Jackie that is great when she isn’t stealing and lying and popping) , probiotic SKYR (Icelandic form of probiotic yogurt, High in protein), coconut water, dark veggies, soups, no meats, room temperature water, mad herbs, Chinese herbs, teas with raw sugar/honey/ ginger/lemon/cayenne….warming elements for my chi. That’s another topic for another time or just ask. Anyway….just an update…also so people can stop asking where I been. I been minding my UTERUS! 😝🤗
