I sat here listening with my jaw wide open with delight earlier today when I first encountered the bassy electronic music of one Bristol duo named Diskord, via their new remix of emerging UK act One Bit's Won't Hold Back. The remix builds slowly to the gratifying drop, a fitting approach for a song titled Won't Hold Back. Upon further examination, I was even more floored by Diskord's recent original Tell Me Why, a rousing, filthy trap rager. It's just what I need after a long day to get me ready for a night out of live music.

Turns out, there's a red hot emerging UK act right now named One Bit. Having released a couple of ace tunes in the past, the duo revealed new track Won't Hold Back, co-written and produced with iLL BLU. Won't Hold Back is an electronic song that reminds me of Rufus Du Sol, RAC, and Panama, with a deeper Duke Dumont like summery house vibe. Previous song Not About You is a tad more brooding, but also an exceptional, intoxicating listen, thoroughly infectious and irresistible. That one even playlisted on BBC R1 earlier this year. I really dislike when guys say "girls want a good man/gentleman but then be like 'i could really use some head right now' like wtf?"

Like are you serious?! Of course I want a good man who is a gentleman. What woman doesn't? But I'm not gonna deny my urges just cause they fucking upset you.
