In regards to your post about Claire just now, i agree. Although i've never been particularly fond of her, she gave Ryan the same reasons for leaving him in "Forgive" that he gave her 8 years prior to season 1. He was right then and so was she. Ryan might've forgot that in his eagerness to finally be with her.

Yeah, I wasn’t like her biggest fan. But I blame that on writing not really giving me a lot from her. I was furious that she killed emma and more furious that she was only brought back to kill Emma. (Thanks writers!) But she has EVERY REASON IN THE WORLD to say no to Ryan. And yeah, Ryan did the same thing to HER. It’s too much baggage between them. Too much has happened. There’s DARKNESS in their relationship and how they came together and sometimes you just can’t sustain it. Especially when you’re not the only two people involved. She has a son who has been through hell and back too because of Joe and his vengeance plot and I can’t imagine wanting anything to do with that ever again if I were in her position. 

She made the best decision for her and her son. It’s not all about Ryan Ryan Ryan in her mind it can’t be. Besides, he’s not too put out. He has a new girlfriend and is living with her and her child less than a year later LOL. He’s doing just fine, I assure everyone.
