In lieu of the yearning essay I was going to write, because I've realised that really would need 3 years and PhD funding, I present: some bits from the Megadate transcript I enjoy!

The thing itself is very Emily Juniper! Gorgeous design. The whole stand up set is transcribed onto a massive sheet of paper which is then folded up and slipped into this lovely orange folder. It doesn't fit on a bookshelf, but I will forgive Juniper for that because who am I to question her genius?

Megadate is what Wonderdate was based on, so if you've seen that you'll get the general idea. However, the yearning is turned up to maximum for this version.

Oh, Timmy. As a 30-something living on my own, this bit is... well it is.

Also I love the ELLIE poem. I love how many of his earlier poems are influenced by Daniil Kharms, and this is a great example.

If anyone can read Russian I'd love to know what this says!

And then lastly, Emily Juniper's illustration of Keysie in his little denim shorts!! I'm pretty sure this pre-dates his appearance on Taskmaster, so this must be what he was referencing when he was flirting with Fred the Swede! Also, does "details of garments employed in the show" mean that he was dressed in his little denim shorts for part of it and if so where can I find photos of that thanks?

Finally got around to watching this, and it’s lovely. Even managed to surprise me with the ending. And Tim looks charming as hell in a full suit.
