L.A.BABY! "INT. STUDIO 19. A DESERTED SET. OCTOBER 2024. 2.45PM (PST)"
In lieu of the yearning essay I was going to write, because I've realised that really would need 3 years and PhD funding, I present: some bits from the Megadate transcript I enjoy!
Really love this cover - Luke has an amazing voice ❤️
I don’t have words to describe my love for Emily Juniper’s poetry.
Quote by Emily Juniper
One of the gayest things I’ve done in a while - besides you know, being married to a woman - is staying up after said woman has fallen asleep, annotating a gay poetry book (coming home to her, Emily Juniper) with stories and thoughts about our relationship (which started long distance and has resulted in me moving from England to America to be with her - reminiscent of Bend Time) to gift to her
Ok so I slightly misremembered the Emily Juniper poem from Megadate. But if the little men in tracksuits aren't Tim I'd be very surprised!
POEM. MEN
Emily Juniper discovered some very small people
Living in the fabric of her jumper.
Actually within the fibres of the wool.
So, very small.
Unimaginably small.
And each of these brave men was dressed in a little tracksuit.
And within the fabric of the tracksuits there lived more men.
And more little men lived in the wool of those men's tops
And so it went on.
