It’s been almost three years since One Direction went on hiatus, but we at the Clog can’t help but still think about these absolute heartthrobs. With their solo careers in full swing, we want to know how they would handle careers as UC Berkeley students.

Niall Horan

Niall is the boy next door who always shows up to classes but also knows how to party hard. He’s such a friendly guy that people actually want to take his flyers on Sproul. He can get into frat parties without even knowing a brother or having a bid. He’s part of the golf team and De-stress with Dogs. Niall double majors in Celtic studies and computer science, and is the only one strong enough to actually go to his 8 a.m. classes five days a week.

Harry Styles

Harry would most likely live in a co-op. His aesthetic and love for eccentric fashion make him the perfect member of Fashion and Student Trends. During his free time, he likes to explore Berkeley for all it has to offer instead of staying within a one-mile radius of campus. Harry would major in EECS, as it seems that his hair is already greasy enough and he has impeccable attention to detail — he pays just as much attention to his codes as he does his outfits.

Liam Payne

Liam is by far most likely to be one of the bros. He’s president of his frat, where respecting women is an integral part of its mission statement. He’s got some sick dance moves and has made his way up the AFX Dance ladder to be the captain of its top competitive team. Liam would major in gender and women’s studies.

Louis Tomlinson

Louis would be a student-athlete on the men’s soccer team. With his quick wit and always having something to say, it’s no surprise that Louis would be a political science major here at UC Berkeley. He loves the rush of debates and is active in different organizations and clubs that are all about politics. Louis would even be ASUC president and actually make positive changes to this school.

Zayn Malik

Zayn was just not about the college life. His classes just didn’t interest him the way he thought they would. College isn’t for everyone, and that’s totally OK. He decided to withdraw from school and pursue a new path in life. With his stunning looks and passion for the arts, Zayn is now a viral Instagram model who works at Zebra Tattoo and Body Piercing part time.
