Lee Unjeong x Emotional resonance powers!Reader headcanons #1 (please read warnings for explanations)

Warning(s): Reader has powers of Emotional resonance, if she focuses on one person or has direct contact with a person she can feel how they’re true emotions. It can be used to predict an enemies moves or even to properly interrogate people. Reader is a childhood friend of Chae-ni who kept her powers to herself.

Unjeong, who first met you after the dumpster incident. He went back to find Chae-ni and asked how many times she’s has died, and you were with her. When you locked eyes with him your senses filled with how calm his emotions were.
Unjeong, who noticed you were different at the abandoned Garden when you ran away with Chae-ni who dragged you along. While running he noticed how you avoid eye contact with others and you wore thin gloves to avoid direct contact. As he crushed the greenhouse he noticed Chae-ni was gone and you were…off to the side watching him? That’s when he knew something was up with you.
Unjeong who first came up to you after what happened at the Garden to talk about what you saw and if you had powers. You and him had a long talk about each other's ‘superpowers’, and the more you talked you felt his presence calming and different from the overwhelming emotions you felt from being with Chae-ni all the time.
Unjeong who started to stay close to you because he realized how overwhelming it could be in public with your powers that you couldn't just shut off.
Unjeong who refused to admit that he’d fallen in love with such a hyper person (a little less than Chae-ni) who still complained about headaches from others even though they were one themselves.
Unjeong who started to subtly brush your shoulders together to let you feel his calm demeanor when training with the others. He knew when they were extra chaotic it would give you headaches, even if you join in on the chaos sometimes.
Unjeong who was clueless to the fact that you could also feel how his heart beats faster around you.
Unjeong who started to properly offer his hand in public to calm your mind which made Chae-ni flip in excitement (literally) for you, even if he denied it of any meaning.
Unjeong who one night took you out on a walk to talk more and it ended up with you confessing that you could feel his feelings towards yourself and that you felt the exact same.
