The words “tea party” made Maddie’s eyes light up even brighter than they already were. “Excellent,” she exclaimed, “I’ll get my favorite teacup and I’ll start brewing the tea.” She paused. She looked at Petra with a questioning look. “Wait, what kind of sandwiches are there? All kinds?”

It was true that the fairy had been feeling a little down in the dumps lately. She tried not to show it to others, but it was probably easily noticeable in the way that her skin hadn’t had it’s radiant glow recently. Well, at least it was Pan’s daughter that decided to do something about it. There was always a sense of familiarity - at least on her part - what with their parents having been so close.

“I would, if I didn’t care about my grades,” Mak mumbled with a quick eye roll. She didn’t want to cause a seen, so she let it go. She wasn’t frustrated at the redhead for talking in class anyways. She was frustrated at the direction her first week at Auradon Prep was going in. She let a few minutes pass before whispering, “Sorry, for snapping. It’s not you I’m frustrated at.”
