"Do you want something specific from the grocery shop?" "Nah, I'm okay. Just bring the usual, but not too much because I already bought food." After answering Hoseok, the phone stayed on the table until the living room looked comfy enough for the movie night/sleepover/party for two that you've been planing with your best friend through the whole month. Life sometimes get's too crazy and 24 hours per day doesn't seem enough to do everything that must be done, but finally you both had a break. The additional thin mattress that rested under the bed was laying on the floor in front of the television, with lots of blankets and pillows. The TV was conected on your favorite stream channel and the colored lights were creating a nice mood. Soon, Hoseok was knocking at the door. "I got your favorite snack!" He was smiling like he won the lottery prize and it wasn't even his favorite snack. Adorable. "Did I say I love you today?" "You can always tell it twice." Filling some bowls with what you were going to eat and placing it aroung the mattress because it was closer than the small wood table, it took you both a good 10 minutes to choose what to watch. Best friends, yes, but with different tastes for movies. "Last time it was your choice! I've watched that horror series and didn't slept well for a week!" "Fine! Pick a movie then.” And it was, again, a rom-com. But better than an only romantic movie. You weren't in the mood for crying and wanting to date. "What this is about?" "I guess they were friends since childhood but something happened and they never talked again. But bumped into each other while adults and the rest we'll only know watching the whole thing." Bringing the popcorn to your lap, you binged to watch Hoseok's choice, and it was actually nice. A movie to relax, laugh, and create supositions with your friend. It was so chill that you didn't notice the time passing. "Wanna watch another one?" "Nah, let's talk. It seems we don't talk in forever. I've missed you." "I've missed you two, Hoseokie. How's life? Work?" "Exhausting! But I'm doing lots of things that I really enjoy, so I can't complain. It's just tiring. Specially when I don't sleep well because I want to see good results in no time so I keep working. Also my body! Check me out, I have grown!" "I notice that! You're huge, like an truck! Pretty as always. I bet there's plenty of people hitting on you." "Well, I can't say no to that, but I don't even have time to date. At least for now." "I feel you, bro. But whenever you got time to it, I'm sure the chosen one will feel like the luckiest in the world." "You always cheer me up. I really appreciate that." "You're my best friend. I'm here to support you all the time!" While talking about your life, Hoseok and you started the skincare routine before sleep, but the amount of snack wasn't helping the masks to stay on your faces without crackeling. "I still can't believe it. How dumb a person could be to the point to dump you? You're like the best human out there." "Oh, c'mon, not that much..." "I'm serious. You're the most amazing and kind person that has ever walked on this world, which makes you even more beautiful. You're too precious for this world." Laughing and thanking him at the same time, you felt that warmth in your chest. Hoseok's really do everything to make you happy, so you were really grateful for sharing a lifetime with him. And his eyes always told you it's mutual. "The alarm is ringing. Time to remove the masks." "What? Oh, not without a picture! Or some..." It ended up with your faces pinching a little but with a whole photobook on your phone's gallery. "Clean, moisturized and smelling good. Now I'm ready to fly to dreams land." Getting comfy on the mattress, you were about to sleep when Hoseok called you. Humming in response, you felt his hand on your hair. "Thank you." "I didn't do anything, Hoseokie." "But your parents did. And I'm thankful for that." "What?" "Ok, maybe this wasn't the best way I could say that, but the point is I appreciate your existence." "Ahn, thanks? Or should I pass this message to my parents?" Chuckling, you hugged him. "I'm really grateful for you too, Hoseokie. You're my comfy place in this world, and I'm happy you are." He didn't had to respond to that. You already knew Hoseok felt the same way. He made sure to show you everyday through all the ways he could. And it couldn't be better.
