Word Count: 820 words
Walking into your boyfriend's apartment you were certain to find him like always sprawled on the sofa, a random movie playing on the TV and his cat Whiskey cuddled into his chest, but you were wrong...
Upon entering the neat house, i took off my shoes, quickly switching to the slippers Wonwoo had bought for me once he moved into his own house. Quiet as to not disturb him when entering, thinking he would be watching a movie, but instead I was met with loud cheers coming from what I could only assume would be the living room, I smile, a little chuckle leaving my lips as Whiskey making his way around the corner meowing affectionately as he reaches me.
"Hi Whis" I smile, scratching his head.
"What is your dad doing?" I joked, my hand reaching down to the cat's chin, his purrs getting louder in delight. He stretches, his paws now on my legs as if asking me to carry him which I do, squatting down to pick him up in my arms.
Walking along the hallway, the cheers only get louder, and as I reach the living room I can see why, the TV was on, his video game on the TV and the words 'winner' plastered on it. I watch as he makes fighting like moves and constant 'Ooooh's coming out of his mouth, his glasses down on his nose.
I try to hold my laugh, although I fail miserably, as it escapes, a hand covering my mouth as to contain it. But it's too late as Wonwoo's frame freezes, and he turns around slowly staring right at me, a blush covering his cheeks.
"I didn't know you were here" He mumbled, shyly pushing his glasses up his nose.
"Yeah, I could tell" I smile.
"I got here a few minutes ago" I continued, finally putting Whiskey on the floor who in response went to brush himself on Wonwoo's legs.
Won laughed nervously, his hand suddenly moving side to side before he points at me and then awkwardly at the TV, as if asking if I had seen it all, I nod, smiling even bigger making him groan as he falls back on the couch.
"So embarrassing" He mumbles hiding his face in his hands. I pout, settling myself next to him, a hand on his back as the other caressed his arm.
"It's fine. I found it rather cute if I'm being honest" I smirked.
"It wasn't supposed to be cute" he grumbled, even more annoying that I couldn't find his actions sexy instead.
"But it was" I stick my tongue out.
"What were you playing? It seemed fun" I asked curiously, his head peeked out from his hands as he turned to look at me, eyebrows raised and a faint smile on his lips as he hurriedly picked up his phone from the coffee table.
"Runeterra. I won the match" he boasted proudly, I laugh at his sudden actions, his shy demeanor suddenly gone as he spoke of what he liked.
"You did? I'm glad" I cooed at him, using my fingers to comb his hair away from his eyes, he smiled back at me, a light blush lighting his face and ears.
"Can you teach me?" I suddenly ask, not expecting much of a response, already knowing that even if I hadn't asked he would have still asked me to play with him, making me in a way or another learn the basics of the gameplay.
"Hmm, I'll help you, but let me make some food first. I'm hungry" He sighs, standing up.
"I'll do it!" I rushed to stand up pushing him back onto the couch. His eyes widened, eyes looking up at me in confusion and shock from my sudden force.
"..."
"Ha... ha ha. Don't worry. I just, want to live" I smiled, he scowls standing up, suddenly way taller than me as if I had just suddenly shrunk.
"I made you dinner yesterday. You didn't die" He narrows his eyes, I pat his shoulder.
"I didn't, but almost did with the amount of salt you put in the soup" I argued back.
"Not fair. The rest was good!" He countered.
"I did the rest!" I laughed, he pouted...
"Ok, you can help" I sigh, a smile was all it took for me to break, his hands suddenly gripping at my hips as my own circle around his waist. He leans down, lips almost on mine when Whiskey loudly meows between us making both of us laugh.
I peck his lips once before stepping back, heading to the kitchen, grabbing his apron and putting it on.
Once more cooking the dinner for the giant child who patiently watched from the kitchen stool.
"Can I play one more game while you cook?" He questions.
