do you use wood textures because you cant figure out how to draw wood? well fret no longer!

i was attempting to add texture to some floor on my piece when i realized the lines i added looked a lot like wood. i went on to continue using this method in another piece and someone brought it to my attention that the way i draw wood makes it look like real wood. i decided that i should upload a tutorial because its literally the easiest thing ive ever drawn

A few people mentioned being interested in my wood texturing tutorial! This is also how I do tree bark, but I follow the flow of the tree instead of straight lines.
