PRE BIRTH.
cillian ronan met genevieve whilst traveling, and the pair fell in love, eventually deciding to settle down in ireland. they spent their summers in france, however with genevieve’s family. from the outside looking in, they were a perfect couple, even more so when their first child, levi was born. they were thrilled. they spoiled levi, put him into all the clubs, pushed him towards his dreams, sometimes a little too hard. they loved him, after all.
but then, things got rough. genevieve’s mother had fallen ill and she had to return to france, not aware that she was pregnant when she left, she left levi behind ( not wanting to take him out of school ), this combined with cillian’s demanding schedule meant levi was often left under the care of others, or even alone at times. not ideal, this led to levi getting into the wrong crowds in school & acting up. something we’ll get back to.
BIRTH/CHILDHOOD.
after her mother’s death, genevieve was joined by the boy’s at the funeral, only to return home a couple weeks later, hoping that she’d be able to steer things back in the right direction. but, unfortunately for levi, it seemed the focus was still not on him, but rather the unborn baby girls and cillian’s work. that didn’t change, even after they were born. harper and piper both became the highlight of their parents day once they were born, even more so than levi so it seemed.
while harper excelled in health class & math, piper excelled in acting & debate, both on their ways to becoming something important. for harper, she’d always dreamed of becoming a doctor and piper wished to follow in her father’s footsteps.
it seemed, the family was finally back to being a happy one and eventually, they welcomed baby number four, oliver.
THE FIRE. this paragraph mentions, arson & death
it was just months before oliver’s second birthday, harper had taken him for a walk to the shops, hoping to get him to fall asleep for his nap. piper was meant to be at drama practice, while it was just the parents home, or so, that’s what levi had thought, but even he never meant for it to truly harm anyone. he was just goofing off with leftover fireworks from new year’s..but one mistake led to the house going up in flames. though he’s claimed it was an accident, him and his friends just effing around, the cops didn’t see it that way, as it wasn’t his first run in with them. though levi was injured in an attempt to put things out, regretting things, he was the only survivor that was inside the house.
little did he realize, piper had been home with the flu, alongside his parents, turning his little accident into a full on crime scene. the guilt led him to confessing later down the line, and with that, harper became oliver’s guardian and took him with her to england, moving in with their grandpa.

they still live in their grandfather’s place, however he has been moved to a home close by, they visit often.
harper finished her schooling and eventually was accepted into cambridge and works as much as she can, has likely done so since before the accident.
she initially started volunteer work as an EMT before getting a part time job as she’d been inspired that night of the fire...watching them do their part.
she is the definition of a workaholic and often has to be told to take a break, otherwise she simply won’t. if she’s not at work, she’s studying. if she’s not studying, she’s taking care of ollie and you get the point.
they have two cats and a bearded dragon.
she’s cut off contact with levi, even though he’s tried throughout the years to reach out from behind bars. she’s afraid of him getting in contact with ollie more than anything.
coffee is what keeps her going.
she’s been in a few relationships, nothing serious as she hasn’t had the time.
wanted connections.
an ex - someone she dated before starting uni, maybe even someone she felt seriously about, but because she didn’t put enough time or effort into the relationship, things fell apart.
friends - either people that she studies with, works with, or even people that push her to go out and live.
a babysitter - she works a lot, so it’s likely she’s hired someone to watch levi when she can’t.
a childhood friend - i’d love someone from her past, or even someone that was a friend of levi’s or enemy, even, who knows. i’m up for it all.
