Underline the Black (the omegaverse fic with Gary/Efnisien) will be posted first, mostly because it's easier to write and I already have 500 words on the first chapter.
Mallory & Mount probably won't be posted until after a hiatus because of how much worldbuilding and work it requires. Like The Ice Plague, it represents some of my hardest writing and work overall as a writer, and I also need to build up a buffer of chapters since I won't be winging the story (I won't write it all out first, but I would like to have at least 5-6 chapters before I start posting to protect myself from future writer's block on a complex story with politics and other stuff happening).
So Underline the Black will come first, and Mallory & Mount might still be quite a few months away!
Hello! I hope you're feeling better today! I had a question about Mallory and Mount, I don't remember if you mentioned this before, my apologies if you had: is the pov going to be from both of the characters, or just one of them?
It’ll be dual POV!
Usually with my original stories I tend to write both POV at some point. I actually think - tentatively - the very first chapter will actually be from Lewis’ POV and not Mallory’s, because I think I want people to get a slightly better understanding of where he’s coming from as a total fucking disaster. As, overall, he’s going to be a hard character to sympathise with for some time, I think.
We’ll probably spend most of the time in Mallory’s head though. Mostly because his life will be the one being turned upside down the most initially.
