So I’m about to start on Netflix’s new supernatural series The Uncanny Counter, and it reminds me of Mystic Pop Up Bar! 🥺 Because I miss the Mystic Trio, here’s our hot tempered pop up bar proprietress pissed off and angry enough to scare off Death/the Grim Reaper himself. 😅 And yes, Guibanjang’s so whipped all it takes is a glare from Weol ju for him to retreat. 🤣

Episode 5 gave us so much feels the show was practically telling us to ship Weol-Ju & Guibanjang!

Though it did try to muddle the lovelines by having a delirious Kang-Bae hold on to Weol-Ju, much like her Crown Prince did in their past lives... But by the end of the episode, these longing glances convinced me these two belonged together, reincarnated Crown Prince or not. 😝

This episode is one of my faves from the series. The way she cried so sadly, so beautifully, at the moon, I could feel the 500-year old hurt, resentment, and deep down, that longing (still!) for a lost love. 🥺😢🤧
