Late last year, a new artist popped up on my Twitter feed. However, after pressing play on “Christmas Card,” it soon became clear that this wasn’t a new artist at all. (more…)

Ol’Dominion and Sandpeople member Iame Aka Wool See has just dropped a brand new FREE album entitled “Shed”. If you aren't familiar with his work, then you're missing out a very gifted MC, and now producer who has released several projects under the new name.
Head on over to the bandcamp page, cop the free release, and buy his other projects! The art is done out of love and passion, but supporting these artists financially as well makes a huge difference.

I've been patiently waiting to see which Hip Hop artist would release Christmas-themed music this year, but to be honest, I never expected it would be a member of the Sandpeople crew. Portland emcee IAME, under the moniker Wool See, released a four song EP late last night discussing the struggles of the holiday season for the less fortunate, as well as recapping some of the social issues we've had to witness this past year. It's an incredibly powerful project that clocks in at around 11 minutes, and this is definitely something that is going to become required listening around this time of year from now on. Head over to Bandcamp to grab the EP for whatever price you wish, even free.99.
