I'm really excited about DLC and the story of the lambs (and the appearance of wolves, God it's beautiful)
I couldn't throw away the idea of a duet of a wolf and a lamb, so now I have Agetha and a small hedcanon to "fire on my own" (in order to survive, we will have to go against the flock)
P.s In the end, they still died at the hands of their comrades
As well as a small sketch of the relationship between her and her partner Wooly
The breed was based on Herdwick sheep which are survivalists. They are a heavily domesticated sheep breed made to be hardy and service winter, wetlands, high altitudes, low foliages.
If anyone else has lambsonas you should post them (pls I love these lil ghosts)
Backstory below the cut
TW: Death, technical torture (by accident)
She was a part of a small nomadic herd that worshipped Yngya, travelling between the mountains to the moist lands of Anchordeep. However, her herd was burdened by a plague Bishop Kallamar cursed them with, which unfortunately weakened her entire heard until they were captured.
However, she was not a calm ewe, she was kicking and screaming as the cultists herded them towards the swift cut of an axe. This futile struggle, desperate near escapes, only became more and more frustrating for the cultists wanting to present Kallamar with their soon to be reaped haul.
So they tried to kill her early, bring her head to them. Deep within Anchordeep seaweed fields, the screams that faltered into distressed gurgling and thrashing lasted so long they echoed across the space as more came. They did not have an axe, they did not have someone strong enough to swing the blunt sword down in a simple beheading.
So they tried to saw her head off, dying from bloodless and still with her head, the cultists loose interest and leave her there. She was dead, family grieving as their sickly frames were herded away from the gore. Her corpse was accepted by the lands, a lonely skeleton left in the swaying grass. Tyeva's spirit can be found lingering in an empty room within Anchordeep, she is surprisingly calm and friendly.
This nature changes when she is around people who aren't sheep, she becomes fearful and paranoid. She will warm up eventually, her persistent and hopeful nature often overcoming her fear. She died only just an adult, still longing to explore and learn. As a nomadic person, she doesn't exactly want to return to Yngya, feeling she would be trapped in Woolhaven.
That and well... She was a traitor who tried to flee with her herd instead of staying and fighting back or hiding with the others. Tyeva doesn't feel like she fits in there. She would probably much rather stick around the cult and follow the Lamb on crusades.
Despite her fear of the now fallen bishops, and other followers of The Lamb, there is a thrill in not needing to worry about dying. Being scared without consequences, its comforting to not have to be brave anymore. Tyeva plays tricks on people every now and then, throwing snowballs, jumpscaring others by popping out.
She however cannot take what she dishes out, if someone scares her good enough, Tyeva will disappear from the cult for a while.
ignoring the few coloring issues I finally completed Mye!
I love her so much, I was thinking of maybe drawing her with a hanbok but I'm still coming up with design concepts for that alone. I decided to draw her with this fleece because it was her original design, but it'll get changed in the future. I'm so happy with how she turned out! Lambie is next (my lamb for my personal AU) and then redesigns for all the Woolhaven residents (including the generic lost souls!) to fit my 'Sheep are Korean' AU idea :3
Just a wip but I love this lineart (need to clean up a little ofc) and I just love her so much. One of my many trans ocs (she's a Trans woman!)
Woolhaven gave me a reason to bring her back and actually use her hdjfbdkfjrkg im so glad because it means I can finally do little snippets of her and the Lamb in my sort-of AU where sheep have korean traditions <3
