i spent all of today just playing through twilight princess on dusk light with the linkle mod and it’s been so euphoric for me. i played this game when i was a child, probably around 7 years old, and now that i’m way older and also a girl. there’s something about playing a game as myself, today, that’s like. strange. i remember all of this dialogue. but it’s changed to be my gender now. and idk that like. gives me hope that one day the people around me that i grew up with will one day also think of me as a girl too. i really don’t know how to explain it but seeing midna call me a girl, knowing that she was originally supposed to call me a boy is just. heartwarming. it makes me feel safe in a way i haven’t felt in a while.
