ok so i had orginally had no clue what to do with my fall deities + mortises BUT now i do >:3c
Mainly, aside from the medical field, most are scholars. Like, historian scholars. It's more of a big deal to them as they became amazed with the past as their old-deceased Dark/Night deity fellas. Out of all lands, they have more institutions that are delicated to history.
In a way, you will see a couple of fall mortises doing deep research on something.
I also mainly believe some of the older fall deities become sponsors for their scholars. They get to go, "Yeah, lil Gage has written a 200-page essasy on [insert in-universe historical topic but with a question/prompt]. Yeah, he is passionate about this. Yeah, he impressed the professors"
