Day 1 of being away
Today I left, leaving the containment. I am finally free!.. yet not. Though I am away from that damned facility I... I am not free. I am being tracked. Dr. Wilson and Viola did tell me beforehand, it's just… different when I'm out here.
I turn to every sound that I can remember from the facility. As if I am waiting to be told what test I am doing.
Life has been a little tense. I can feel the looks I got just from arriving back at my house—like daggers in my back. I didn't hear any words, but I can only imagine what people say.
I try to be in a quiet, dark room almost all the time I have free. To avoid seeing myself... I have become different... and it scares me. What they did to me yesterday has helped science move forward and has given me strength. It’s just... I don’t know how to feel about it.
