I SAW YOUR JUNGMI TWEETS so i wanna ask a scenario where yoonmi wantED to get a tattoo and what whould the boys reaction be ???
ooooooh i gotchu hun 🥰 though it won’t bee too big of a reaction, here are the boys reacting to yoonmi wanting (and planning) her tattoos... hope you enjoy!
this is set in 2019 just before their break ends and just after jungkook got his tattoos
Yoonmi sat patiently while Jungkook drew on her with a pen. The older had taken it upon himself to help her think of tattoo ideas, and she had chosen four. Now, he was helping her see what it would look like on her, but him drawing on her collarbone was a little ticklish.
“Stop moving, Mimi,” he scolded.
“I’m trying! It just tickles!”
They missed the knocking on the door. Seokjin walked right in, a plate with the sandwiches she put in the toaster earlier in hand. He froze when he saw what was happening.
“Oh, hi, oppa,” Yoonmi waved to him. “Are those our sandwiches?”
“If you want this to turn out pretty then stop moving,” Jungkook reminded her again.
She obediently sat still whike Seokjin placed the plate on the desk beside the two maknaes. He carefully observed the situation and saw drawings and scribbles on her two hands and one Jungkook was currently doing on her collarbone.
“Are those tattoos?” the hesitation was clear in his voice. “Are you planning on getting tattoos?”
“Yupp,” she grinned, “Ggukoo oppa says he’ll take me.”
“Okay then.”
With that, Seokjin walked back out the room, a little dazed. Yoonmi shook her head. She knew Seokjin felt weird about her doing grown up things like that, but she was gonna be an adult soon.
“Done,” Jungkook smiled victoriously while leaning back.
He took a photo and showed it to her. Seeing the lines flowing on her skin made her excited. She looked down at her wrists and smiled at seeing the other two. Then Yoongi walks into the room.
“What’s this I hear about getting a tattoo?”
Yoonmi excitedly looked up at Yoongi and the rest of the members who had followed after him out of curiosity.
“Look what Ggukoo oppa did! He helped me plan the tattoos I might get.”
“Isn’t that going to hurt, though?” Hoseok asked her.
She shrugged a little bit. Seokjin, who seemed to have regained his senses suddenly spoke up.
“Jeon Jungkook, how could you have influenced our makdungie to want a tattoo?”
Jungkook raised his arms in surrender. “I didn’t! She just went up to me and asked if I could draw stuff for her. When she said it was for tattoos, I helped her conceptualize!”
“She did mention wanting a small tattoo,” Jimin brought up.
“Can I see them?” Taehyung asked her, making his way towards the two maknaes.
First, she showed of the heart from the Love Yourself: Answer album that rested on her collarbone.
“Namjoonie oppa’s words kinda replay in my head when I see this heart,” she excitedly explained. Namjoon felt himself smile a little at that. “I thought it would be a great reminder to love myself whenever I look at myself in the mirror. Then I have this one.”
She held up her right arm to show off the side of her hand just under her thumb. The word “breathe” flowed down in English.
“That’s from your 7 solo,” Yoongi realized. It wasn’t a title, but a lyric she’d emphasized on in the song.
“Just a little push to keep me sane,” she laughed. “I’m already mentally unstable as it is, so this would just help ground me. This one was Ggukoo oppa’s idea.”
Jimin cooed a little but then went to cradle her to his chest. She laughed knowing they were probably a little upset about her bringing it up like that.
“Sorry,” she apologized before holding up her left arm to show the left side of her wrist. It held a minimalistic bulletproof vest similar to their first logo but also simple enough to pass as a random shape. “This one is for you guys. You’ve been protecting me since I was really young, and, as we say, we are bulletproof.”
There was a little moment of silence as the six older boys let the meanings of the tattoos she wanted sink in.
“Do you guys like them? Because if you don’t then I can— Hobi oppa, are you crying?”
Hoseok came forward to give her a hug. “You’re getting a tattoo for us?”
“Someday, yeah,” she giggled while hugging him back. Jimin and Taehyung both ruffled her hair while Namjoon nodded in approval.
“It’ll be nice for you,” he told her. She smiled up at him. She then turned to Seokjin and Yoongi.
“Don’t look at me,” Yoongi chuckled. “I’m all for it.”
Everyone turned to Seokjin who sighed. “I like the ideas, Princess. Just promise me you won’t get addicted to getting inked and get some reckless tattoo?”
“I promise, oppa! Besides, it won’t be soon. Just a little bit into the future maybe when I’m 21.”
“Okay,” Jimin clapped while getting up, “now let’s go and eat our lunch, because I’m pretty sure it’s getting cold.”
As the six older boys left the room, Jungkook and Yoonmi exchanged a look. He picked up her right hand to look at the inside of her pinky finger, a simple shape with three strokes on it. He compared it to his own right pinky which held a similar simple shape but with different strokes.
“Do you think they’ll get jealous if we tell them you want a tattoo that matches mine?”
“Hey, that’s practically my name,” she laughed. “Maybe a little bit, but we’re literally best friends, so they’ll get it.”
