After his mandatory time spent with the head of the guard Cas wasn’t too keen on sticking around. Not only did he remind him too much of his older brother, but Cas somehow doubted he would let him get into any trouble while in the general vicinity. If there was one thing Cas had learned growing up with parties like this, it was that the best way to enjoy himself was with getting up to trouble.
Loosening his tie enough to undo the top button of his shirt Cas grabbed a glass of red wine as he circulated. Suits weren’t his favorite thing to wear, even finely tailored ones that fit him perfectly, but it had been mandatory, so here he was clad in dark blue with gold accents. Though he kept a modicum of comfort with his typical boots. It didn’t take long before he sauntered up to someone he felt like talking to. “Quite the ritzy event, eh?” he asked with a grin.
