Digging Deeper into Isaiah 66:1-2
This is the latest wordbite from my youtube channel, featuring the same guest speaker as last week! Remember that God accepts all levels of brokenness - so no matter what walk of life you are on right now, He is able to lift you up and give you peace.
Truthfully, I've been feeling so lost about where I'm headed in life right now. Change has been on the wind for the last few months - nothing feels solid, and even the schedules I've made for myself are winding to a close. So where to next? It was when I was lying in bed, half-awake, half-asleep, talk/complaining to God that He reminded me again. God speaks. He talks. He gives guidance. And sometimes we aren't able to carry out even one of those actions that He shows us. So what does He do? He waits, until we learn that the first of the tasks He set was a stepping stone to a new path, or a new revelation, or a new section of life altogether. I think that sometimes we even miss that first task, complaining to ourselves about how God doesn't answer prayers and how our lives are horrible. Sometimes the timing passes for that task to be complete. But God's grace is such that for every season, we can be assured of this: He still cares, He still forgives when we return with complete abjection and humility, and He still gives new direction and life to those who admit they have none. And I will take refuge in knowing that: God never fails. And we are His work in progress, if we let Him work in us.
