Fang had been going at it hard and showed she was not as rusty as people would have assumed for her age. However, she still had weaknesses that skilled fighters could get through well enough with patience and right timing. Such timing had been on the other woman's side as Fang realzed at the last moment her footing was failing.
Body crashed into the grassy ground beneath her and she winced a bit only to shake her head. It did not register that she was unable to get up until she tried to push up with her hands against the ground. Green eyes quickly widened as she came face to face with Lightning on top of her keeping her in place. It was an extremely intimate sort of positioning and Fang did everything in her mind to not just become bright red in the motions. No, she couldn't give Light that satisfaction.
Nonetheless, calloused and well worn hands drifted to hold at the woman's hips taking note of just how well she was stuck beneath her. Fang knew well her heart was hammering but it was from a mix of fighting as hard as she had been. Lightning never held back on her and she was thankful for it. Hands rested as eyes locked to blue for a moment.
"At least take me out to dinner first, yeah?"

Haxus looked like he was sleeping, but Pidge has a hard time feeling bad for disturbing him. It wasn’t that long ago since he had tried to kill her. She knocked at the glass of his cell for a few times, and just to make sure he could hear her through it, she half-yelled, “Hey, Haxus!”
And then she continued to yell for his attention, “Hey! Hey! HEY!”

Part of Cloud wants to pretend like he doesn’t know who the hell Reno is the moment he hears that stupid voice. Or pretend like he’s someone else. But Reno’s a turk and fooling him is next to impossible.
It’s not that he’s ashamed of his genderfluidity, it’s simply that he doesn’t want to be teased and in Wall Market, there’s less a chance of that. He can just be himself. Granted, it’s pretty sketchy, but he can still fight in heels. Swing a sword too just fine.
Eventually, Cloud forces his gaze to fall upon Reno’s smug face. “.....S-Shut up, asshole.”

He sneered, eyes narrowing and teeth bared. Because Caleb knew exactly what this meant, spending quality time with the dragon who did the opposite of spoiling Caleb. And Caleb enjoyed every second of it.
