This week in writing, 9/24

...Next week will probably be better? I moved a week ago today, and came down with a cold a few days after that, so this has not been a week conducive to doing... much of anything. (Except playing Stardew Valley. So much Stardew Valley.) But I am alive! And I did write more than zero words this week! And I am trying to get back into familiar routines, so here we are.

Born in the Blood: 223, and I have nearly! made! an important! transition! almost! maybe!

Slavefic #6: 203, and Threetoo! is thinking! some thoughts! about! something! I think I remember what I figured out about this literally a month ago! probably!

Kinktober fic for Day 1 (Bucky/Steve): 391, and I have remembered that the key to writing genuinely short PWP for me is “start with both characters in bed and at least one of them naked” so good job me.

NaNoWriMo Day Four Progress Report

Really, today almost didn’t happen, but I couldn’t justify missing a day this early in the month with no good reason. My daily word count is pitiful, but thanks to my over-achieving on day two I’m still on par!

NaNo Daily: 678 words :(  NaNo Total: 6,914 words Manuscript Total: 23,250 words (Okay looking at this number makes me feel pretty awesome) Given today we were challenged to double our word count- I don’t think I could have done worse! But I still managed to write something, and that much I am sincerely proud of.

Is that the longest chapter of FYFM to date?  I think it might be.  Lemme check.

Nope.  Looks like Chapter 9 is still clocking in longer.  And, aw.  That was Grantaire and Enjolras' date chapter.  Which is as close to fluff as this fic has really gotten.  And, look at that, this one's a fluff chapter, too!  Well... not really.  Only kind of.  A little bit.

...eh.  Whatever.  There is some mild bits of fluff involved betwixt and between all the angst.  ^_^

Should be fun, yeah?  ^_~
