Birds, a Moment
Birds singing in the trees.
Different melodies.
Genres and tastes,
different remedies.
The sun sets,
hope you're not forgetting.
That the day was made,
so the night shall begin.
Hahaha, oh Elisher. I miss you so. And I'll copy and paste your answers into a text post ;)
K, so disgusting, gory details of my day: So my poo...
Haha, just kidding.
But what actually happened is that MWF, I don't have class until 11:30 which is awesome. What isn't awesome, however, is that I have been waking up at the crack of dawn every day for some reason. And by every day I mean the past two days. But I hate it. A lot.
Anyway, I woke up and then I had a hard time going back to sleep so I just played around on my computer instead of doing something productive because I'm lazy. Then I had Creative Writing, where some girl sat next to me and told me out of the blue that she wanted to read me her poetry. It was a strange experience. She was a nice girl, but it was very weird nonetheless.
Then I had grammar and I'm in love with it. I think my professor was a little freaked out because I was so intently staring at him, absorbing everything he said. I love English. Channeling my inner Josie Gellar for a minute: "Words are my life!"
Then I had this class called "The American Epidemic," and there were tons of people. Still no hot guys that weren't married, though. Basically my life in a nutshell.
All in all, not an incredibly exciting day. I did have my friend up here tell me that he would date me if I would just change my mind about dating him... Holy awksalot! (Hehe, it sounds like ocelot.)
Basically, I miss you guys like crazy, and I think about you all the time. You are the best group of girls ever and I feel so blessed to have lived with you.
Thanks for being you.
Today I realized my unexplainable love for words and their connotations.
The thought of simple letters grouped together to create something so complex is a whole new level of amazement to me. Take the word “splendid” for example. The letters seem to dance off of your tongue. On one hand you see combinations of letters and they mean nothing. But in the other hand, they mean everything. Flawless: flaw-used to described an imperfection or an unwanted feature. less-short of expectations or not reaching standards. These two words have negative connotations but when put together, they create something beautiful. Flawless- perfect, faultless, and desirable. I could ramble on for hours about my exquisite and infinite love for words.
