Gossip
Ruby loves hearing gossip, but she rarely spreads it herself. It’s partially a way for her to satisfy her must-know-everything gene, and partially a way for her to gain a bit of power in the Order. Blackmail is well within her playbook, but rarely needs to be used to coerce another changeling. Why be forceful when she can just bribe them with snacks? Unless someone’s secret puts someone’s mission or the Janus Order itself at risk, she’s not likely to bring it to light.
Her own true emotions and thoughts are often kept hidden, and any real vulnerability is rare coming from her, least of all any sorrow or pain. Her kindness is often both genuine and strategic at once -- that is, she’s nice because she wants to be just as much as because it’s smart to be -- but even when feeling unkind, Ruby can swallow her temper and pride in order to maintain her usual persona if she thinks getting along is the most effective thing to do.
