I have no need for a crown. I am noble by design. My horns are my crown. My wings are my mantle. I have no need for excessive dressing. Power is in my blood. Strength is in my cry. The feels when you go to the doctor, they weigh you, you've lost a bit of weight... But, not as much as you thought. BUT, you don't spiral into a black hole of self-hatred, obsession over numbers, or placing your worth on your weight. Like, I'm at such a comfortable place with myself even though I am consciously eating healthier/forcing myself to eat well despite a diminished appetite. One of my goals this year is to be more physically active...Not for weight lost purposes, but just because I desire my old stamina. I'm trying to value my body and care for myself mentally. And it's seemingly working. I feel free from the nagging voice of inadequacy or toxic comparison to others. Instead I admire others because they are different from me. And I love myself because I am different as well. I'm just very comfortable in my skin. And that feels right. It feels peaceful.
