Yesterday at work me and some of the group members were chatting about a recent convention, and art stuff in general. I finally mentioned I draw a bunch and would like to table at the con at some point, maybe. Of course, they immediately wanted to see some of my art so I got out my iPad and showed some of the less cringe stuff,,,, reception was FANTASTIC, stroked my ego greatly, good stuff, unfortunately I was then asked for my socials.

And while I do think I'm very well behaved here, this also isn't a space I need people WHO I WORK WITH (!!!!!) to see
One girl even opened up her Tumblr app, furiously deleted several of her most recent searches, and then puppy-eyed me to please type in my blog name
Just mortifying, even if the intentions were very sweet but GOD I could not look someone in the eyes who's seen my online bs, given I use this name on most platforms now

the main manager at work is sick very often i suppose and another big head is movin to another chain. they handed their manager responsibilities off to me, which i don’t mind one bit, and they told me i’m gonna be opening on saturday. bruh i’ve been here 4 days and they want me to run the (albeit small) show.
yesterday i ended up finishing everything i was assigned and breathed in that shitty, spicy guac air. after work, it was hot so an old school friend of mine went hiking. he showed me how to dip underneath a bunch of bramble and hop over the river and you get to see a small waterfall head on. while germany was beautiful in its own way, i am much more impressed again with american sights versus european stuff. just tired of europe, i suppose. my phone died, so i couldn't geocache. :( womp womp.
we knew each other since 1st grade and it’s so freaky how he looks the same but adult, and his voice obviously changed, but he’s still such an echo of the past. i keep bringing up old memories of classes together, but he doesn’t remember them because he had a lot of concussions in his life. people out here are so different and so goal oriented.
today was a good day. time to cook and read my book. :-) haven’t played neo very much but i’ve been drawing a lot more instead! lots of cav showin up. i don’t miss neo, but i miss my neofriends.

It was literally fine today btw. My manager came in, but I only saw him briefly and I don't think he's been told of anything. 🤷♂️
I'M NOT SCHEDULED FOR FIVE DAYS AND SOMEONE DIES IN OUR BREAKROOM IN THAT TIME? HELLO???
I cannot believe I work for a multimillion (billion?) dollar company that frequently sells items well around thousands and thousands of dollars and we still use a a digitized item system based in what looks and operates like fucking DOS.
