Work For Students

I've seen a lot of "Work For Students" flyers around my campus. As a student looking for work, I was curious about what this was and looked it up. It's a complete scam. They have you sell knives, and make you pay for the demo set (between 100 and 200 dollars). You get paid on commission, so there's a good chance you lose money.

I'm not naive, I know there are plenty of scams in the world, especially for people as desperate as students looking for jobs. But for Maryland to promote the scam by posting flyers inside classrooms and residential halls is pretty surprising. You would think they would look into something like this before advertising it so heavily.
