I have this friend at work. She’s the Senior Director of IT. She’s super smart and a pretty good person all around.

Yesterday after work we were chatting and I brought up her photo on our website. Every employee has a headshot posted on the “Our Team” page.

I saw your photo, I told her. You look way different. I mean, it doesn’t even look like you.

That’s because it isn’t me, she said.

Wait, wha-??

She went on to say that she hates having her picture taken. Our EVP who takes the photos got tired of waiting and Googled her name and snatched the picture he saw and posted it because he really believes it’s her. Is he blind?? The photo no way looks like her.

Hilarious!

We both started laughing.

I should tell him I told her. Don’t you dare, she said. He’ll want to take my picture!

In a miraculous turn of events, managed to make 2 friends while out at a concert with my flatmate today

Me and my friends were going on a walk through a cider mill hiking trail, and one of them, friend A, is a huge scaredy cat... at one point friend B got far ahead of us and walked into a clearing, sat on a fallen tree and gave us the most creepy look as we walked up. Friend A screamed and fell back on her ass with me behind her, and complained I didn’t stop her fall 😂😂

Later, I was taking a picture (I’m a huge nature photography buff, nature is so pretty) and they walked out without me and I thought it’d be funny to scream? Cause I couldn’t even see them anymore. Sure enough I hear friend A scream and yell out “WHERE’S KEYES” and I ran up laughing and complaining that they left me behind cx

Even later, the trail moved out of the more forested area and onto a much more open trail, wide enough for a car to come through. And as we were walking we heard a really distant motor, and it kinda freaked us out and friend A held onto my arm for a straight minute before I was like “A-ahem.. friend A..?” And they stopped

I had a great time at the cider mill is the moral of this story and friend A is cute

The guys at my work are sound, nice to meet new friends ^-^

Every day at the end of work, my coworker and I sit down to finish our paperwork but end up discussing how hot Jensen and Jared are and googling pictures of them to show eachother. I feel like that's the epitome of a good job.

I honestly am so lucky that I have best friends that tell me they know they'll love me till we're old. That we'll be friends for a lifetime. Makes me feel like I've done things right. I hope it stays that way. I love 'em to pieces. I love having friends who enjoy seeing me and make time to see me. It's nice to feel important to someone. I'm not used to it.
