Prompt 10 - Party
@rosekillermicrofic June 10, word count 416
Previous part First part Wolfstar series part 1
“Tell them their Daddy misses them!” Barty shouted after him. He laughed all the way out of the hospital.
Mavis and Drac hadn’t destroyed anything, much to Evan’s surprise. They greeted him at the door and led him into the kitchen so he could feed them.
He collapsed onto the sofa, closing his eyes as the last 24 hours crashed down on him. He’d forced Barty to go out of the house, and because of that, he’d been shot and nearly died. Scratch that he had been dead for a few minutes at least. They had been the longest, most painful minutes of his life. He’d felt his heart shattering in his chest as he thought he’d lost the love of his life.
Mavis jumped onto his lap and butted her head against his.
“We nearly lost him, Mavis,” he told her, stroking her silky fur. Drac brushed up against his leg and meowed sadly, looking towards the door. “He’ll come home soon, guys, I promise.”
He didn’t get to mope about for long as the door went. He got up and hesitantly moved towards it. “Who’s there?” he asked.
“It’s us,” Sirius called through the thick wood. Evan let out a sigh of relief and opened the door.
“We thought you could use some company,” Sirius declared, pushing past him and making himself at home. Remus followed him in and handed Evan a bottle of whisky.
“He says we need to party to celebrate Barty surviving and our imminent move to the country.”
“Stop gassing and get drinking!” Sirius shouted through.
Evan did not remember what happened over the next few hours, but when he woke up to his phone ringing, he knew it involved a lot of alcohol, as his head felt like it was splitting in two.
“Hello?” He winced as his own voice grated in his head.
“Where are you?” Barty said loudly down the phone. He sounded grumpy and put out. “It’s visiting time, and not a single person is visiting.” Evan flopped back onto his pillows and pinched the bridge of his nose between his thumb and finger.
“I’m so sorry, Barty. Sirius and Remus came over last night with a bottle of whisky, and we might have finished it and some.”
“You’re telling me that while I lay in this hospital bed with a literal bullet hole in my chest, you, Sirius and Remus had a damn party?!”
“Erm, yes,” Evan said quietly.
“Prick,” Barty huffed.
“Yeah, I know,”

I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!
Sometimes I wish I was a Lego so I could snap my tits on/off at will.
Or add a dick. That’d be cool.
Is this love?
Am I allowed to say that?
It usually scares off others
And I need you,
Please stay, please don't be scared
I only want the best for you
And I understand that is not me,
That you are four years into a commitment
But maybe -
Maybe I would consider making another pact,
Calling upon a cross-roads demon
That we may reconvene when all else proves
Not to last
I hope you make it last,
I hope you have found
Everything you have ever wanted
But also..
Selfishly..
Would you ever consider moving North to Alaska?
OP drinking game: Every time I look at Sanji I drink. Because I like Sanji and I like drinking.
