They said the decreased hours/payroll would be temporary.

It’s almost August. Still just a teensy bit over half of the payroll we normally get. Not nearly enough.

And the workload hasn’t lessened. The sales plans haven’t lessened. They literally want the results of preCovid projections at half the everything.

They are acting like this is normal and it has always been normal.

When we deal with gender identity, the question has to be asked, ‘Who is in authority that gets to define who is what?’ I would say the authority is the One who made us.... To say that we get to decide is to say, “God, you don’t get to decide.”

Finance&Admin Business Analyst Team w/ Krakow Team

This week ay busy week for us, dahil dumating nga yung trainers namin from Krakow, Poland. Ang saya lang kase ang gagaling nila mag train samin. Yung strategies and all, wala lang ang cool.  Yung team namin, ginroup sa apat. since apat sila na trainers. Sa group ko 5 lang kami, tapos ako lang babae bes HAHAHAHA Pero masaya din. Less drama and complicated situations kapag mga lalaki kasama ko. Tapos ang cute nila ee “Baby girl” daw nila ako kase nga ako lang babae samin tapos ako pa pinakabata sa buong team HAHAHA Ang cute lang :”>. We still have 1week with Krakow Team, so kakayanin paaaaa. Training pa more ganern AHHAHA :)

I’m so TIRED.

Work is just UGGHHHHH.

So. The location I’m at was closed for a month due to COVID. We are still limited hours. But what they don’t tell the public is that the payroll has been cut so drastically to make up for the losses from the closures.

I’m sure it’s happening in other companies too...

I normally have a team that works under me consisting of 2 full timers and 2 part timers. Well, my entire team has basically been dispersed to help the rest of the store while I manage the operations of my shop by myself. They can help me take orders... but I have been producing, receiving, supply ordering, etc. BY MYSELF. For a month already...

I don’t know how long they’re gonna keep this up. There’s gonna be a line that I’m gonna cross soon in which I cannot get the orders produced on time... unless I have my team.

And I’m very worried they are gonna drag this out so long that I’m going to have to re-train my whole team how to produce the orders...

And we are already almost in July! When October November rolls around it’s gonna be impossible...

I’m also worried that they’ve limited payroll so much that they are gonna expect me to run everything by myself permanently...

I feel like I need options. Because I’m being run ragged and I don’t know how much I can take...

One of my framers submitted 2 week notice a week ago...

The other didn’t show up today, and won’t be working in my frame shop anymore...

Update:

So even though I’m hesitant about being open for business with uncertainty about our capacity, I’m happy to be framing again lol

Not that I minded doing online orders, or setting POGs while we were closed to the public, but it’s a little baby step back to what my job is

Water on the floor from (I assume) a leak after yesterday’s big rain

The ceiling tile was buckled but didn’t fall until AFTER I cleaned up the water...😩

Dry mount machine is fine. Artwork is fine and has been relocated across the shop. Facilities maintenance has been contacted, now on to my work work.
