Work when you're bored, rest when you're tired. That's the millionaire mindset. Make no mistake of confining yourself to schedules or routines. Keep an energy radar and monitor it well. Deals are closed when there's a surplus energy flow. Somehow people miss the esoteric side of doing trade. Everything is about movement and action. An invisible channel is created when your mind, body and soul is focused on something which opens unimaginable pathways to the very psyches of your target market. A secret tunnel is built subconsciously without both parties even realizing what just happened behind the scenes. Abundance is all out there. How you connect to it is the real talent. Passion, zeal, enthusiasm - these are precisely what unlocks earthly treasures. But when you find a sluggishness setting in, then learn to withdraw gracefully and wait for the high tidal force of energy to hit your shores once again. Throw the fishing nets into the sea when there's a storm!

Eudaimonia Machine 与学习序列

古希腊文 “Eudaimonia”一词指能够开发出人体全部潜能的一种状态。Eudaimonia Machine 则是建筑学教授 David Dewane 设计一个空间概念，最早看到是从《深度工作》这本书。虽然Eudaimonia Machine 还只是一个设计概念，但它确实让人印象非常深刻，是我理想中的办公建筑的样子。

就书中介绍，Eudaimonia Machine 整栋建筑结构是一座一层高的长方形，有 5 个相互联通但彼此独立的房间组成，一字排开。互相不联通是使用体验的关键，必须穿过一个房间才能进入下一个房间。

第一间是陈列室。这个房间展示杰出工作的案例，旨在激励使用者，创造一种健康的同侪压力。

第二间是沙龙。在这里是高品质的咖啡馆，或者是一个酒吧。房间里有沙发和无线网络，目的是酝酿好奇和争辩的情绪。在享受咖啡和鸡尾酒之间，引人进一步探究和思索。

第三间是图书馆。这里永久存储了这栋 Eudaimonia Machine 产出的所有工作，同时还有图书和各类其他资源。有复印机和扫描仪，可用于收集整合使用者项目所需的资料。

第四间是办公空间。房间里有一个标准会议室，白板和带桌子的小隔间。这里用于低强度的认知工作 (“浮浅工作”)，比如各种管理和行政事项。

最后一间是深度工作室 (他从 Cal Newport 的文章中选取了“深度工作”这个说法)。房间有很好的的隔音保护，适合高强度的沉浸工作。他设想人们在其中工作 90 分钟，然后休息 90 分钟，如此循环两三次，即可到达一天专注工作的极限。

心想，如果能在这样的办公空间里工作该多好。虽然 Co-working Space 是市场上很火的概念，但从认知体验出发，循循善诱让用户达到高度专注状态为目的的，还没有见到太多。

用同样的逻辑来思考日常学习，是不是也能从这个房间序列中有所启发呢？

工作开启的时分，想想学术偶像、人生英雄、世界学霸，想想在自己的领域中高山仰止的人们或者杰出的同辈，看看作品和案例，找寻刺激与健康压力。

然后再是酝酿思考的情绪。泡一杯咖啡，浏览各类不同的或深或浅的观点，映照自己，兼听多闻。

接着进入项目资料夹。前面两步收获的灵感，可以归档的则归档。同时检视项目已有的材料，确定一天中的任务进度。该提取出来供今天使用的资料，也可以先拿出来。

再然后就是处理低认知强度的工作。在过程中可以把大脑预热。

最后觉得状态到了，就可以进入专注模式了。用 90 分钟的区块计算，累了就休息一会，休息好了就进入下一个 90 分钟区块。

感觉这样的学习序列很适合日常早 9 点到晚 6 点的时间表。如果一天的时间可以自由支配，那么中午一般可以进到浮浅工作的状态，并且已经收获了一些灵感。这样，中午到傍晚就可以进行一到两个 90 分钟的极度专注区块。

我决定试试。
