Even a moment of contemplation about the "yoni" would leave one amazed at how this entire universe has been designed to evolve. The Sanskrit word itself is so deep that any translation to any other language will only appear shallow, rendering a very limited and partial imagery instead of capturing the whole. There's the anatomical marvel, the biological phase, the psychological relevance and finally spiritual symbolism. But tonight I would just want to focus on that last part.

Imagine a space which holds immense potential, a generative powerhouse capable of bringing something out into the manifest world, an energy storehouse that has the transformative capacity of turning even a drop into something beautiful. I see the "yoni" as the ultimate gateway of manifestation. I see it as the seat of divine attraction - the very axis that pulls and keeps the forces in play.

Now with all that said, this portal remains useless unless the masculine mechanism comes into picture. For what good is a closed door without the key to unlock it. What good is a flower whose nectar isn't extracted by the bee. The Divine entry point is irrelevant unless its masculine polar comes into play.

And this is precisely where the whole idea becomes really interesting because now the cosmic dance begins - the coming together of two polars, the fusion between two opposite energies, the meeting of Yin and Yang, the union of night and day, the harmony of stillness and movement. Something is building up, and not just in the sense of intense rush and the running of fluids within our bodies, but also in the spiritual world of evolution - a seed is being planted in this most sacred spot of universe for creation to take form and shape. In this nearness and proximity of the lingam and yoni, in this proximity of the masculine and feminine, a spark is flashed into existence, the ultimate peak of human experience is reached, the pinnacle of passion, the zenith of desire, the fulfilment of our most innate hunger and thirst - that's how life is taking birth - such explosive energies beautifully and systematically channelled to bring into existence is not only just meaningful and purposeful but it also evokes a question: what a depravity it is if our inherent powers are not being played out to its fullest potential. This entire universe is engaged in this divine foreplay and yet here we are barely even participating in this cosmic dance!
