michigan just repealed the indoor mask mandate for people who are fully vaccinated and it goes into effect at 9 AM tomorrow while i’m at work. lord give me strength

I think one thing I hate most about my work is this one religious older lady who constantly makes quite complaints about me, and particularly my humor (which is often dark, sarcastic, and extremely nihilistic). 

Legit, my nickname in the office is Wednesday Adams both because of my appearance and my attitude. I went as Wednesday for Halloween a couple years ago and legit people didn’t realize I was dressed in costume until one of the ladies straight up asked me. 

Anyway, today the number 666 came up (related to our stats) and I cackled and cracked a joke about it, and apparently offended said lady, AND of course got talked to about it. 

My boss (who grew up with pagan/hippy parents) was cool about it and was like, I’m well aware its a joke, but we have to make sure everyone in the office is comfortable.

She also doesn’t like when I swear because it’s “unladylike.”

Fucking bite me.

so like, I've never been intimidated by a man with authority (my mom says I told off the school principal in kindergarten when he was trying to intimidate me) but I do still find some sick satisfaction in the fact I'm 3 inches taller than my bosses and they aren't allowed to yell at me
