Work trip turned into fun trip.
I got to learn alot of things, you can't expect less from being around like minds💐
Few weeks away from home and my babies, they missed me bunch.

Work trip turned into fun trip.

Few weeks away from home and my babies, they missed me bunch.
This has been a great trip!! But my body never quite acclimated to the west coast timing and my sleep has been off and I miss not eating out for every meal.
About to head to breakfast soon at the hotel, then we’re heading to the airport early because checkout is early and we want to use the free shuttle.
Feeling so affirmed that this job is perfect for me. Everyone was so nice and chill and I want to stay here for a long time.
Great last day in San Diego! Some more exploring in the first half of the day and then we got all dressed up for my final work dinner. I’m exhausted and ready to fly back tomorrow.
My body is craving the east coast time zone, sleeping in my own bed, and home cooked meals 😩
Met some of my coworkers today and it was a great day! Breakfast at the hotel then we explored some more and had the best iced coffee ever and an almond chocolate croissant.
Then we had beach Olympics which was lots of fun. We were there from 12-5, then we grabbed dinner as a group and watched some World Cup games. I got some face time with 2 of the company’s partners/founders and I think I made a great impression. Everyone is really fun and nice!
After dinner we made it over to sunset cliffs and caught some golden hour and saw part of the sunset as it went down behind the clouds.
Not sure yet what we want to do tomorrow. We have no plans until the fancy work dinner from 5-9.
Landed in San Diego, immediately got a California burrito, explored Balboa Park + a little bit of old town, then checked into our room! We had an early dinner because it’s 8:30pm to our bodies.
I got the worst migraine suddenly but some extra tortilla chips and salsa + electrolyte powder got me feeling right ASAP.
I did get some details for tomorrow so I’m feeling a little more prepared!

I’ve been assigned my Friday team building activity for the work trip… beach Olympics. They’re so unserious 😆
No time or beach chosen yet lol but they did say +1’s are welcome so I guess Clay is coming with for that. I hope I’m not the only one who brings a guest

Got more info about our SD trip (hotel info) + I was told I’m assigned to the group doing beach activities on Friday (!!!) so now I have a little more info to work with. Apparently a larger email with more info is coming out over the weekend/Monday.
They also said +1’s are invited on Friday so Clay is coming with on that day too
