For those of you who aren’t yet aware, this week is Work Wise Week, aiming to promote a flexible work life, as well as reducing costs, seeing improvements in productivity and overall employee wellbeing.
Virtual meetings, smarter travel, mobile working and working remotely are all main focusses of the scheme and with developments in technology soaring, teleworking is now becoming even more feasible. Thanks to smartphones, virtual networks and videotelephony, gone are the days when everyone needs to have a physical place of work.
Friday 16th May marks the ninth annual National Work from Home Day, encouraging people to stay at home, motivate themselves and do their full working day from the comfort of their homes, rather than making the commute to their workplace.
