harry’s fun in that he is an unpredictable variable in a lot of older people’s master plans. -- where they meticulously put together elaborate ruses to confound other adults they seemingly never take the time to consider there might be a child with a problem with authority coming along to confront them dead on who just might derail the whole thing. that’s neat.

Sad how something that brings you joy finishes and now something extremely harder will take over most aspects of your life for the next year or so.

I asked my work to not work late from the 6th to the 14th of December so I could be home in time to light my menorah each night. I volunteered to work christmas because its not that important to me as long as I got Hanukkah. And I didn't. This was going to be my first proper Hanukkah andni won't even be able to celebrate because ill be at work at sunset. Also ill be working on Sunday the 6th which is not only the Sabbath (although I've never really bothered not working on sundays yet) but also the first night of Hanukkah. I'm pissed off. Next year I will prepare for this better.
