Frosted Lady
I know tweed is not typically associated with summer, but since I was only wearing a cami underneath, it actually worked quite well for me. And tweed is always classic, feminine, and professional, which I needed to be in this case. No matter how you style it, whether it’s jeans, shorts or a skirt, it will always give your outfit a polished look, making it quite the versatile investment.
Today, I’m also excited to tell you about EvocateurStyle.com. They’re a super chic, one-of-a-kind store offering unique jewelry and accessories in 22-karat gold leaf and sterling silver. They will be giving “A Key to the Armoire” readers a 20% off on jewelry for the next month, so be sure to click on their site and enter the discount code “armoire” to get it! Their stuff is to die for! Bee cuff? Obviously my favorite…!

I need an outfit appropriate for a job interview, but I would still like some colour and fun in it! What blouse would be appropriate, but also look nice with a black blazer overtop?
Hi there! Great question! In this blog post, I created a few work/interview appropriate looks with a classic black dress, and added pops of color with bright bags and a blazer. If you plan on wearing a black blazer, try a jewel-toned dress or blouse underneath with coordinating colored heels! Hope this helps! <3 Amy, ModStylist

I bought the Topiary Artist dress last year for a wedding, and I wish I could wear it to work because it's so cute! However, the lacy pattern and high neck make it kind of hard to layer things and make it work appropriate, and...tights? Help!
Hey there! The Topiary Artist Dress is a great base for a fun work outfit. The addition of some office appropriate staples like a high collared or tie-neck blouse with a blazer can help to balance out the lace! Throw on some light mint tights in the cooler months and your favorite brown heels for that professional polish. Finally, top your look off with a belt over your blazer and some bangles on your wrist! Check out all the pieces from this style board and more of my favorites in this wishlist. <3 Kelly, ModStylist

I'm hoping to interview with an art school for a costuming major within a few months. What's a good interview outfit that won't make me freeze in the transition weather, but can still express my personality?
Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to us! Sometimes interview looks are the toughest to come up with because you want to look professional and capable, but still show off your own style. Since this is an interview for art school, you definitely want to make sure you show off your artisitc ability, and what better way than with fashion! To see some awesome pieces that are perfect for a more professional occasion, check out our work appropriate category. I took some of the pieces seen in this cateory and made a whole outfit for you to hopefully inspire you! I hope this helps! <3 Chelsey, ModStylist
The Time Well Vent Dress is the perfect blue cut-out style, but throw on a blazer and it's work-appropriate in an instant! The back slits are my favorite feature, as well as the front pockets and high neckline.

Nails in the Workplace, Part 2. The trusty gradient returns, plus a couple more twist on the french tip! You can also play with patterns or bold shapes. Just keep those colors subdued and coherent.
