When a company has skyrocketing profits, board members and stockholders get richer. When a company is bleeding money, the workers take the hit. End of the day making every business worker-owned stops Mass pollution, stops exploitation, stops slavery, stops prison labor, stops wage underpayments, and improves almost everything you can imagine. And I've debated many capitalists on this. And I've only gotten one argument that was even close to being logical. They said but workers don't know what is best for the business. I didn't say worker ran. I said worker-owned. If somebody knows how to run the business the best, let them. Just make sure that at the end of the day the profits go to the workers and everybody else in the business, and the workers have a say or a vote in what happens with the company. Because there's a difference between a boss who wants to run the company efficiently and a boss who wants to make as much profit as possible while exploiting the planet. And the second one needs to be kept in check by the workers. And the only way that happens if the business is worker-owned.
