ATTENTION ALL UNHAPPY WORKERS.
TW: mental health
Unhappy with your job? Leave it. I was unfortunate (maybe actually fortunate) enough to get fired from my last job before I could leave. They fired me for practically being "difficult to work with" which meant, I wanted to implant a well working system for a bar that's going down the drain. I was severely depressed, had to work from 10:30-8:30 cooking food for other people with no mandated breaks except for when I had to go to the bathroom. I could barely eat, sleep, and do the things that brought me joy.
But oh boy, getting fired was the best thing to ever happen to me at that point. I got hired at target for seasonal and I'm 3 weeks in, and it's already the best job I have yet, despite the workload. I'm being treated as a human that has needs. My mental health is finally healing.
PLEASE. If you hate your job end to end. QUIT.
