We of course also had a day of wine tasting. A prompt pick up from Wineflies at 8:15am and first sip of wine around 9:30am, no need for me to explain what a rather long day it was. Completely worth it to see 5 wineries in total in Paarl and Stellenbosch and some introductions to working ducks and dogs, my favourite being merlot who followed us around where the barrels were kept.
We finished off the trip with a hike up Lions Head, unfortunately not table mountain because the cable car was closed everyday. Perhaps just the reason needed to go back and visit again, that and R24 to the £1 although when you are not earning money it is easy to run out even with that exchange rate ;)
I’m watching the The Looney Tunes Show episode “Working Duck” and I thought turkeys were stupid.
