‪First day being trained as a Team Lead. Nervous but excited. 😬‬

Met an Australian woman while at work today and it was, quite possibly, one of the best moments of my life. I just love Australian accents so much. They’re so cool.

So, at work, we use swipe cards and fingerprints when we clock on and off, and only the person who’s name is on the card is supposed to be able to use that card with their fingerprint.

Well, I got to work at my scheduled time, clocked on with my swipe card and special thumbprint, then got counted in to my concessions station, all good, like usual.

The guy I was replacing, we’ll call him J, got counted out of his station, went upstairs and clocked off, all good, like usual.

Quick thing about the swipe cards, they just recently reorganized the swipe cards because we got some new hires and such. Mine and J’s cards are right next to each other, his above mine, and our last names both start with the same letter.

Not too long after he clocks off, I hear one of my managers over the radio, asking the other manager about a special ‘S’ card that’s used to override the little clock on/off machine.

Apparently, J accidentally used MY swipe card and HIS fingerprint to clock off! That’s not supposed to happen! You’re not supposed to be able to mix and match!

I was actually a little offended that the machine thought he was me.

Then I thought that maybe he’s a long lost family member I never knew about.

Then after I finished closing and was going to leave, I didn’t see my car parked right out front where I like to park, and I had a brief panic and thought someone took it, but it was still where I parked it. If it was gone I was gonna blame J.

Dang J, tryna steal my identity and my car. Jokes on you, my car kinda sucks.

I feel like @agenthaywood would have been amused by me last night.

I used a step ladder at work.

Just so everyone's aware, I got a really good workout in a work today. Worked up a real good sweat and my arms felt like noodles afterward.

Pretty sure I witnessed four middle schoolers on a double-date.

Could have just been four friends hanging out, but I definitely got the double-date vibe. Especially when the one boy told one of the girls to get some candy cause he was paying.

Some of the stuff I get to witness at work is pretty great.
