Updates and Changes
Hello all! The Elusive Pimpernel is now "Working Trot" When I picked The Elusive Pimpernel as my blog title it was an inside joke with myself. The Elusive Pimpernel is the title of a book in the series from which I named Percy. I used it to signify how our relationship has developed in short spurts over time and how elusive our progress was. I see him nearly every day now and our progress happens every moment.
The new title is to show our current work in progress. We're working on the trot, that moment in many dressage tests that you enter the ring. (Hopefully) You enter the ring with a dynamic powerful trot, as straight as an arrow and with a smile. We're working on making every ride start off as good as we end.
Anyways, I also wanted to make this post to let you all know how stupidly busy I am. I recently had a promotion at work that is requiring three weeks of training from me. Most days we go from 8-6 and of course I have my barn work to complete, ride Percy, and get in my training rides for my clients. I'm not able to post on tumblr as much as I like until school starts and then hopefully life will slow down a little bit.
Hold tight guys! I'll try and do what I can, but until then I'll be doing training rides, going to training myself, working in my office, working Percy, feeding horses, sweeping barns, etc etc.
