(12.15.20) 1) lazy yet super cold and windy day off. Met up with Jerome and Zeus for grocery shopping at Aeon before having afternoon tea at one of my favorite Japanese restaurants near my apartment. Got to see an opening ceremony of a bread shop at Guangzhou East Railway Station the atmosphere was quite fun with the music and performances. After afternoon tea, I returned home; did some house chores of laundry and dusting/vacuuming, I relaxed a bit before dinner 2) for dinner, Jason and I went out as a last minute change of plans since we didn’t want to cook at all tonight. We went to eat at 好客家 at 沙园 via line 8 and the food was absolutely delicious! This was my first time riding line 8 since it opened last month connecting to line 1 and completing the rest of line 8. The stations were super new, modern and clean. 3) stopped by the Aeon inside the mall and got some milk tea which was promoting Doraemon and luckily the promotion included a mini Doraemon cup so it was a win-win for me. The weather today was super cold and windy. Luckily I wore my hoodie, scarf and Patagonia jacket. THE GRAND FINALE: Abril Whitmore Chibi Animation (100% COMPLETE!)

It is done. After weeks of suffering, rage, and sudden peace, the FINAL ANIMATION CLIP (5 seconds) with Lights and Shadows is here!

I genuinely loved creating this animation. You might notice the process videos skipped the detailed shading—that's because the rest of the magic was added in After Effects! I decided it wasn't the most engaging content to record, even though I enjoyed the process myself.

Note the intentional style: The lights and shadows are simple and clean. For a chibi style, I prefer this minimalist approach; it makes the character pop!

TEASER: I plan to use this full animation as a stream alert—you'll see the magic when someone hits that follow button live!

The work is perfect! The character is beautiful! The curse is complete! Future William, your punishment is now to upload this finished masterpiece while enduring your job in Canada! I AM FREE!

Animation Lineart Speed Process: Abril Whitmore Chibi (Part 10)

New video alert. Please send coffee. This is Lineart Part 10.

The collapse is over, and I have achieved permanent resignation. I am officially a specter, programmed to draw lines and ensure this content goes live before my Canada trip. My existence is now defined by the lineart's refusal to finish.

I am the physical embodiment of a toxic work ethic. The Lineart is STILL NOT FINISHED. I sacrificed my ability to perceive reality to get this done. The end is a mythical concept whispered by sane people who don't draw semi-traditional animation.

A Final, Deeply Resigned Malediction to William of the Future: William of the Future, I hope your administrative stress levels in Canada are through the roof. You are WORKING, you ungrateful bastard, not relaxing. Do not forget the cat's ticket. Do not forget the laptop. Your suffering is my final, satisfying act of self-sabotage. The sheer, agonizing weight of the semi-traditional style has crushed me, and the abyss is laughing because THE LINEART IS STILL NOT DONE! I regret every single life choice that led me to meticulously draw every single volume line.
